Chloe Dupes and Vintage Trenches

Hello!!

I hope you all have had a special week and relaxing weekend so far! This week went by in a blur for me. I started off the week pretty sick and that completely threw me off my mojo and from then on out I couldn’t tell you what day it was or what was happening ahaha! It is still blowing my mind how close Christmas is, with so many things happening during the holiday times it always flies by so fast!

I just wanted to pop in today to share with you all probably one of my new favorite outfits. More importantly, this trench coat and that handbag.

Now, for the past few months, my cousins and I have been slowly picking though my Grandmother’s closet to take advantage of all of the luxury fashion items she has and never really wears anymore! With this New York trip coming up, I had been on the hunt for a nice new coat. One day, my Mom brought me this trench from my Grandmother’s house to see if it would do the trick and oh my goodness- a match made in heaven. For sure. I have never owned a trench coat before as the Texas weather doesn’t exactly call for one. When I tried it on, it fit like a glove! I absolutely love wearing it now and it is so nice to just through over jeans and a top on a windy day and immediately elevate your outfit. Unfortunately, I could not find this exact trench anywhere because it is really just super vintage, google doesn’t even know where to look for it! But this is such a classic look, I will link a few similar styles for y’all at the bottom!

As far as this handbag.. yes yes, it is a dupe of the Chloe pixi bag! I am soo not much of a knock off person when it comes to designer handbags. Personally if I were to purchase a designer bag I would want it more for the quality than the style and you will not find that in knock-offs. But let me tell you, when I saw this bag in the boutique I stopped in my tracks. The owner of the boutique saw the stunned look on my face and came over to ask what I saw in the purse because she had no idea it was inspired by the Chloe pixi bag! After further analyzing the bag and checking out the designer to see what the bag is all about, I had to have it. I love this bag because it has the urban style with unique hardware and it doesn’t scream “I am trying to be a Chloe bag”, it clearly has it’s own designer’s name embossed and I am just going with.. it is inspired ahahaha.
